Nowadays Carel is firmly positioned in the top three humidifier manufacturers in the world and is the absolute Italian leader in the humidification sector.

Carel.s advantage is the wide range of Humidification products available: Adiabatic humidifiers (air/water, pressured water, ultrasonic, centrifugal) and Isothermal humidifiers (electrical, immersed electrodes and gas), which enables the right solution to be found for every kind of applications.

The company’s headquarters cover an area of around 9,000m2 in Brugine, twenty kilometers from Padova and thirty from Venice. As a result of its commercial success and continual acquisition of new customers, Carel has expanded its productive facilities in a new humidification department.

Carel quality in the humidification sector

Carel is actively involved in technological research applied to humidification, with the support, for example, of academics from the University of Padova and the CNR (National Scientific Research Council).

Its important contributions to the sector have been welcomed by the AICARR (Italian Association of Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration).

Proof of its constant commitment to R&D can be found in the registration of numerous patents, including the AFS Anti-Foaming System, the exclusive system for detecting and eliminating foam in steam humidifier cylinders.

The electronics used in our humidifiers is developed directly by Carel. Our systems include automatic equipment for mounting traditional components (PTH), automatic surface mounting equipment (SMD – Surface Mounting Devices) and automatic soldering equipment.

The high level of automation is a guarantee of high and constant quality in our production processes. At the end of the process, all products are subject to strict automatic functional tests (test-in-circuit). The electronic production facilities also include .burn-in. tests (preventative ageing) on the mounted components, in order to minimise any initial defects.

Thanks to its own certification laboratory, Carel can check that all new products being developed conform to the strictest international standards.

Electromagnetic compatibility and susceptibility tests are performed on all humidifier controls, while the humidifiers themselves are verified using thermal and mechanical tests. Furthermore, during production each humidifier is tested according to T"UV standards. The company.s ISO 9001 certified design and production system, as well as the CE mark, German TUV and DVGW, American ETL and Russian GHOST approvals ensures the quality of Carel humidifiers.
